Trump: I just had a very good phone conversation with Chinese President Xi Jinping. It was a long and detailed call, and we discussed many important topics, including trade, military affairs, my upcoming trip to China in April (which I'm very much looking forward to.), Taiwan, the Russia-Ukraine war, the situation in Iran, China's purchases of oil and gas from the United States, China's consideration of increasing its agricultural purchases (including increasing this season's soybean production to 20 million tons, and they have already committed to 25 million tons next season.), aircraft engine deliveries, and many other issues. All the discussions were very positive. The relationship between the United States and China, and my personal relationship with President Xi Jinping, is very good, and we both recognize the importance of maintaining this good relationship. I believe that during my three-year presidency, the work related to President Xi Jinping and the People's Republic of China will yield many positive results.
